Chris Tantillo
Originally from Long Island, NY, Chris began playing the violin at the age of seven, but switched to viola during his time attending the Interlochen Arts Academy for high school. Chris received his Bachelor's degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2002, where he worked with Stanley Konopka, and did his Master’s studies with Robert Vernon. He spent a year playing with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida and the following year with the San Diego Symphony. This is his first year playing with The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.
