Thomas Stubbs

Thomas Stubbs graduated from Juilliard in 1970 and joined the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Stubbs is currently the Assistant Principal Tympanist/percussionist (cymbal specialist) for the SLSO. He teaches at Saint Louis University and he also has been teaching at the Aspen Music Festival and School since 1989. In the past, he has taught at universities including the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, University of Missouri-Columbia, and University of Indiana (Bloomington). He is also a clinician for the Zildjian Cymbal Company.
