After Hours at the Pulitzer
April 13, 2006
Students from Washington University met regularly throughout the spring semester at the Pulitzer and learned about the concept and mission of the institution. The students also trained as docents for the exhibition Minimalism and Beyond and discussed effective ways to communicate the themes of the installation with the student public.
Their training as docents culminated with "After Hours at the Pulitzer," an event which invited students and staff from universities throughout St. Louis to visit the Pulitzer and discuss the exhibition with the student docents in the galleries. This was an opportunity to explore the art on view with student peers, to become familiar with the Pulitzer, and to see the building at night.
