Students from Saint Louis University enrolled in the course "Exploring the Pulitzer" met regularly throughout the spring semester at the Pulitzer to learn about the concept and mission of the institution, to train as docents for the exhibition Minimalism and Beyond, and to discuss effective ways to communicate with the student public.

Their training as docents culminated with "The Pulitzer by SLU," an event which invited students and staff from Saint Louis University to visit the Pulitzer and discuss the exhibition with the student docents throughout the galleries. This was an opportunity for students from Saint Louis University to explore a unique cultural institution located within their neighborhood and to discuss the art on view with their peers.
