OverviewTranscript

Artist Richard Serra and Guggenheim curator Carmen Giménez engaged in a public discussion of Serra’s work and the Pulitzer installation, Brancusi and Serra in Dialogue. The discussion was held at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, with a reception that followed in the shared courtyard.

Serra, generally considered to be one of the most important living artists, worked with Giménez on his highly acclaimed Guggenheim installation that opened in Bilbao, Spain in June 2005. Giménez also curated 2004's important Brancusi exhibition, which was shown at the Tate Modern in London and the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
