Brancusi-Serra Symposium

Overview

On May 14-15, 2005, a symposium was held at the Pulitzer to discuss the installation Brancusi and Serra in Dialogue. The thought process behind the works’ presentation, the potential of the Pulitzer exhibition space, and possible developments for future installations were central topics of the symposium. The program was structured as small panels, each of which was 20 minutes in length and involved two or more panelists. Participants included Stephanie D'Alessandro, Susan Cahan, Elizabeth Childs, Harry Cooper, Ivy Cooper, Anne d’Harnoncourt, John Klein, Peter MacKeith, Roxana Marcoci, Joseph Rishel, Peter Soriano, Rochelle Steiner, Marielle Tabart, Ann Temkin, Ian Wardropper, Andrew Walker, and Kulapat Yantrasast.
