This scholars’ breakfast and discussion took place on October 12, 2002 with Linda Nochlin and Reinhold Heller, in conjunction with Washington University’s Department of Art History. The event was in response to the program “Promoting Modern Art in the United States: The Case of H. W. Janson” which was held at WU on October 11. Approximately 25 persons attended.
