Tour Information

As a part of the exhibition, Urban Alchemy/Gordon Matta-Clark, the Pulitzer is offering a series of docent-led tours focused on connecting Matta-Clark's work with the surrounding community. Each tour is unique and encourages discussion. All tour options are available on February 20, March 20, April 17, and May 15.

Exploring Art: In the Galleries
Noon - 1pm

Join our docents in an exploration of Urban Alchemy/Gordon Matta-Clark. This docent-led tour is conversation based and focuses on individual perceptions.

This tour is free. RSVP if you intend to bring a group of more than five people.

Exploring Art: Urban Alchemy and Citygarden
10am - noon or 2pm - 4pm

The tour will begin at the Pulitzer with docent-led conversations about the exhibition. Following the tour a shuttle will take participants to the nearby Citygarden, an outdoor sculpture park located in downtown St. Louis. Connections with Gordon Matta-Clark's work will be the focus.

This tour costs $5, payable at the Pulitzer's front desk the day of the tour. Reservations are necessary and must be made one week in advance.

Exploring Art: Urban Alchemy and the Urban Environment
11am - 2pm

Explore "anarchitecture" in and around the Grand Center neighborhood. After a tour of the exhibition at the Pulitzer, participats will explore Midtown and nearby Old North St. Louis via shuttle. Discussions will focus on connections between Matta-Clark's work and our local community. The tour will conclude at the Urban Studio Cafe with an opportunity to purchase refreshments.

This tour costs $10, payable at the Pulitzer's front desk the day of the event. Reservations are necessary and must be submitted one week in advance.
